Layne Publications
Layne Publications has just come up with a new way to learn music from an expert from the comforts of their homes. Since 2005, Layne Publications has been a trusted online resource for bluegrass tabs. The company was formed by Jordan Layne Bourland to help aspiring music players learn the intricacies of playing with an entire band. He has recently revealed a series of plans to work out a robust learning program that offers all the necessary assistance to music enthusiasts.

As a part of this new learning process, Layne Publications is about to add professionally recorded backing tracks that would be available both with and without each of the instruments. This will provide students a situation similar to playing with an entire band. To help students learn better, all the songs would also be recorded at a speed of 75% compared to that played in the jams. It is relevant to mention here that Layne Publications already has an excellent collection ofbanjo tabs, mandolin tablature, and gospel guitar tabs.

When asked about the objective behind the introduction of this innovative concept of learning music, Jordan Layne Bourland says "I remember my own experience of going to bluegrass jams every week. Most of the songs played there were completely unknown to me. I found it very hard to master the art of playing with a jam and wanted to create this new way of bluegrass education". He also added that new bluegrass tabs would be added regularly to his website to help students achieve perfection in a wide variety of songs.

Since 2005 Layne Publications has been the premier source for Bluegrass Instruction and learning. They have sold thousands of tabs and helped thousands of players improve their ability in the comfort of their own home. Students can then take this new skill out to their local bluegrass jam session or to the next practice with their band and show off what they've learned. It gives them the chance to practice things at home without the pressure of getting it right the first time. They can stop, rewind and continue going over that trouble spot without the bass player standing there giving them the evil eye because it wants to move on to the next song.
